Questions From Property Partners

What is corporate leasing?

Lockett’s Management leases the unit directly from the owner or property manager, then places a screened, qualified resident under a corporate lease. You work with one company instead of managing individual tenants.

How are residents screened?

Every resident goes through our application and qualification process before placement, including background screening coordination and income review.

How is rent handled?

Residents pay Lockett’s Management, and we pay the property directly under our lease. Rent is due on the 1st of each month.

What lease terms do you look for?

We typically sign 12-month leases and are open to longer terms with the right property.

Can you lease multiple units?

Yes. We work with apartment communities and property management companies across Dallas–Fort Worth to fill multiple units.

What happens if there is an issue with a resident?

Residents contact Lockett’s Management first, not your on-site office. We respond within 48 hours and handle the resident relationship so your team doesn’t have to.
